Norwich Women’s Soccer Volunteers!
Last Saturday the Norwich Women’s Soccer team had the opportunity to volunteer and spend the afternoon at Northern Greyhound Adoptions in St. Albans Vermont. The girls were able to help at the kennel by raking the yard, cleaning inside and outside, walking and also bathing the dogs. We are thankful to have had this chance to help out and care for the animals; this volunteer work was a great experience for the team!

Norwich Women’s Soccer has started the 2011 season! The girls arrived on campus August 18th excited and ready to work. After the past two weeks filled with fitness, practice and scrimmages we are in great shape for a solid season. The scrimmage against Castleton State was a chance for the team to work together and put the hard work over the summer and preseason to the test. Our first regular season match up will be on September 1st against Johnson State. We welcome our new athletes and look forward to a successful season. Go Cadets!

Spring Soccer 2011

The Norwich Women’s Soccer team has had great success during the 2011 spring soccer season. The team dedicated two days a week to lift workouts with Coach Kruger since February. Along with team lifts, the girls got together three times a week to play small sided and possession games, gaining more touches before the summer break.
On Wednesday. April 21st, the Cadets traveled to Castleton State College to scrimmage the Spartans. The girls worked well with new teammates and adjusted to the different positions smoothly. The hard fought Battle ended in a 3-3 tie!

Spring Semester 2010 Kicks-Off

Norwich University opened its doors for the start of the spring semester January 18. The soccer team jumped into their academic schedule with a morale boost. The cadets earned an overall team GPA of 3.194 for the fall semester. We also had a student athlete complete her studies last fall. Congratulations to Cadet soccer player, Allie Flemming!
